Add an Okta bookmark application

This topic describes how to create an Okta bookmark application.

Create a direct-access application in your Okta org

  1. Sign in to your Okta org as an administrator.
  2. In the Admin Console, go to Applications >Applications.
  3. Click Add Application.
  4. In the search bar enter bookmark.
  5. In the integration section select Bookmark app.
  6. Click Add.
  7. In the General Settings step, enter values for these fields:
    1. Application label: This is the name that appears to the user in their Okta org.
    2. URL: The fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the application. This URL must be resolvable inside and outside the network. In the SAML pass through reference architecture, this would be https://app.mycompany.com.
  8. Click Done. The Assignments tab opens and the application appears on it.
  9. Assign individual users or the group created in the Add an Okta org group step.
  10. Click Done.
